What psychotherapy is like with me…

Welcome to your first step towards healing and empowerment. I'm Nuriye (she/her), your guide on this journey to reclaiming your peace and power from the shadows of past traumas. Here, in the heart of Madison, CT, and through the wonders of telehealth across the entire state, I offer a haven for exhausted adults eager to shed the weight of your past,  and the burdens of generational patterns. With me, you'll find a blend of understanding, judgment-free support, and cutting-edge therapeutic strategies aimed at healing the root causes, not just bandaging the symptoms.

If you're reading this, you might be on the brink of giving up, worn out from carrying the load of overwhelming emotions, and frustrated by countless attempts that led nowhere. You're searching for something more than a temporary fix – a therapy that brings real, lasting change. You're not just ready for this journey; you're yearning for a therapist who gets it, who walks beside you without judgment, and is as committed to your recovery as you are.

Are you ready to invest in yourself?

In our work together, we'll explore the transformative power of EMDR, helping your brain to "unstick" and heal from trauma in a way that feels like finally being able to move forward. We'll also delve into Ego State Therapy, aligning the various parts of yourself like your inner dialog into a harmonious team, ready to tackle life's challenges together. And through Mindfulness Meditation, we'll ground ourselves in the present moment, fostering a sense of calm and resilience against life's stresses.

Together, we'll navigate the complexities of Anxiety, Depression, PTSD, PMDD, Sexual Assault, Narcissistic Abuse, and Childhood Emotional Neglect. These therapies are not just tools, but pathways to unlocking a life beyond survival, where healing and hope can flourish. Many clients, perhaps just like you, often wish they'd embarked on this path sooner, discovering that it's never too late to heal.
